Srinagar, February 11 (KNO):

, For the second straight day, the higher reaches in north and central Kashmir received fresh snowfall, while the plains witnessed light rainfall on Tuesday.

, According to the Kashmir News Observer (KNO), fresh snowfall was recorded at multiple locations today, including Sonamarg and other higher-altitude areas. Meanwhile, the plains—such as Srinagar and other parts of the Valley—experienced intermittent light rains.

, Director of the Meteorological Department (MeT), Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad, stated that the weather is expected to remain generally dry from tomorrow until February 14.

, However, there is a possibility of light rain and snow at isolated locations on February 15 and 16.

, Dr. Ahmad further mentioned that February 17 is likely to remain dry, while February 18 and 19 may bring generally cloudy conditions with a chance of light rain and snow at isolated places.
