Sakeena Itoo visits GMC Jammu, SMGS Shalamar, enquires about health of Budhal patients
J&K Health Minister Sakeena Itoo visits GMC Jammu & SMGS Hospital to check on patients from Budhal village, assures government support.
JAMMU, JANUARY 23 (BAN): Minister for Health and Medical, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo, visited the Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu and SMGS Hospital, Shalamar today.
She went to enquire about the health and well-being of patients from Budhal village of Rajouri district. MLA Banihal, Sajjad Shaheen, and other medical professionals were present.
During her visit, Sakeena Itoo interacted with the patients of Budhal and assured them of all possible assistance and support from the government.
The Minister also assured the affected families that a detailed investigation is underway to determine the cause of the tragedy. The Health, Police, and District Administration departments are working together.
Sakeena Itoo stated, "Health department, police department and district administration is working tirelessly 24*7 to ascertain the real cause behind this tragedy."
While reviewing the ongoing treatment and care of these patients, the Minister asked the hospital administration to monitor their health conditions regularly.
She directed them to keep ample doctors and paramedics available for continuous monitoring and to keep the ministry updated about the well-being of these patients.
