Srinagar, April 14: In a proactive step towards ensuring the safety and well-being of women, Srinagar Police has established Women Help Desks across all police stations in the district. The initiative is designed to respond promptly to issues such as harassment, eve-teasing, and inappropriate remarks faced by women in public areas.
In addition to these help desks, a Mobile Women Safety Squad has been deployed to provide immediate assistance and real-time intervention whenever required.
According to reports, Srinagar Police has urged women and girls to come forward and report any incidents that make them feel unsafe or harassed.
