Rain and Snowfall Expected in J&K from March 25-27, Says Meteorological Centre
The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued a weather advisory predicting rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir from March 25-27. Light precipitation is expected in higher altitudes from March 25, with widespread rain and snowfall likely from March 26 afternoon. Dry weather is forecasted to return from March 28 onwards. Authorities have advised travelers and farmers to take precautions.

Srinagar, March 24: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued a weather advisory predicting rain and snowfall in various parts of Jammu and Kashmir from March 25 to 27.
According to the forecast, March 24 will remain generally cloudy with dry conditions. However, from March 25, light rain or snowfall is expected at higher altitudes, especially in North and Central Kashmir. A more widespread spell of light to moderate rain and snowfall is likely from the afternoon of March 26, continuing until the evening of March 27.
Dry weather conditions are anticipated to return from March 28 and are expected to persist through March 31, with further stability forecasted from April 1-3.
Authorities have advised travelers, tourists, and transporters to plan accordingly and adhere to administrative and traffic guidelines.
Additionally, farmers have been urged to halt agricultural activities on March 26-27 due to the possibility of thunderstorms and gusty winds in some areas.
