Soldier Posted in Srinagar Allegedly Dies by Suicide
A soldier stationed at Badami Bagh Cantonment in Srinagar allegedly took his own life using his service rifle. Srinagar, February 11 (KNT): A soldier posted at the Badami Bagh Cantonment in Srinagar allegedly took his own life using his service rifle, officials said.
The deceased has been identified as Satyajeet Kandhol, a resident of Panipat, Haryana. He was serving with the 20 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) E Company at the time of the incident.
According to initial reports, the soldier shot himself, but the reasons behind this extreme step remain unclear.
