Traffic Advisory Issued for Tulip Festival 2025 in Srinagar

Srinagar, March 24: The Srinagar Traffic Police Office has issued a traffic advisory ahead of the Tulip Festival 2025, which is set to begin on March 26 at Asia's largest Tulip Garden. Due to an anticipated surge in visitors, particularly during Eid-ul-Fitr, authorities have introduced a one-way traffic plan to ease congestion and ensure smooth vehicular movement.

According to the News Agency—Srinagar News Observer, visitors heading to the Tulip Garden are advised to take the Lal Chowk-Dalgate-Boulevard-Gupkar Road and return via the Nishat-Foreshore-Habak-Dargah-Khanyar route. Similarly, motorists traveling from Harwan, Shalimar, and Nishat towards Lal Chowk should use the Foreshore-Hazratbal route instead of the Nishat-Boulevard axis. Additionally, vehicles from Gulab Bagh, Zakura, Naseembagh, and Habbak should opt for the 90 Feet Road and Ali Jan route to reach Lal Chowk.

For those traveling from **Srinagar to the University of Kashmir**, it is advised to take the **Lal Chowk-Dalgate-Nigeen-Hazratbal route** to avoid congestion near the Tulip Garden and Boulevard Road. Similarly, vehicles heading from the **University of Kashmir towards Srinagar** should use the **Habak-Foreshore-Nishat-Boulevard-Dalgate route** for smoother traffic movement.
