Shab-e-Barat to Be Observed at Jama Masjid Srinagar on February 13
Shab-e-Barat will be observed at Jama Masjid Srinagar on February 13, with Mirwaiz Umar Farooq delivering a special sermon from 7:30 PM to Isha, followed by prayers and supplications. Devotees are invited to join the religious gathering.
Srinagar,Feb 12 :The sacred occasion of Shab-e-Barat will be observed with great devotion and reverence at the historic Jama Masjid Srinagar on Thursday, February 13, 2025 (14th Sha’ban 1446 AH), as per tradition, the Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid has announced.
According to the News Agency—Srinagar News Observer (SNO) As part of the observance, Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Dr. Molvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, will deliver a special sermon on the significance and virtues of Shab-e-Barat after Maghrib prayers, from 7:30 PM until Isha, followed by a collective session of repentance and supplication (Tawba & Istighfar).
The general public is urged to participate in the gathering to seek blessings on this auspicious night. The Isha prayer will be offered at 9:00 PM, InshaAllah.
