Srinagar, Feb 15 :Srinagar Police have arrested five individuals for causing a public disturbance at Kadi Kadal. Following the incident, an FIR (No. 08/2025) was registered under Section 194 of the BNS at Police Station Nowhata.
According to the Srinagar News Observer (SNO), officials stated that the accused were involved in a fight, disrupting public order in the area. The arrested individuals have been identified as Moieed Baba, son of Shabir Ahmad Baba, a resident of Firdous Colony, Eidgah; Farhan Shah, son of Shahnawaz Ahmad Shah, a resident of Gojwara; Junaid Shahnawaz, son of Shahnawaz Ahmad, a resident of Gojwara; Moien Manzoor Kak, son of Manzoor Ahmad Kak, a resident of Kak Mohalla; and Shahid Mukhtar, son of Mukhtar Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Shampora.
Police have assured that further investigation is underway to determine the cause of the altercation and any necessary legal action.
